AirTuxOne
Open Source · Linux · GPL-3.0Play Microsoft Flight Simulator with your Turtle Beach VelocityOne Flightstick, even from an older Linux PC! AirTuxOne makes the joystick act as one or more virtual Xbox 360 controllers so you can use its stick, throttles, and buttons in the game.
Why AirTuxOne?
Cloud gaming provides the processing power needed for Flight Simulator while streaming the graphics to your PC. GeForce NOW supports keyboard and mouse or a standard Xbox controller, but a flight simulator is better played with a joystick. AirTuxOne maps the joystick to virtual Xbox controllers so you can configure its buttons, axes, and throttles in the game.
Firefox and GeForce NOW are third-party services. GeForce NOW requires a paid subscription.
Requirements
- Linux (Mint, Debian, Ubuntu, or similar)
- Turtle Beach VelocityOne Flightstick set to PC mode
- Firefox (AirTuxOne is not fully compatible with Google Chrome)
- A paid GeForce NOW subscription
- A Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 license
Profiles
The standard profile (./airtuxone.sh) creates one virtual controller. Use dual (./airtuxone-dual.sh) with one separate throttle controller, or triple (./airtuxone-triple.sh) with two.
Installation
git clone https://github.com/Denis-lab-911/airtuxone.git
cd airtuxone
chmod +x setup.sh airtuxone.sh airtuxone-dual.sh airtuxone-triple.sh

After running setup.sh:
- Log back into your session or restart your computer to apply group membership changes.
- Start the daemon for your chosen profile before opening Firefox:
./airtuxone.sh(standard)./airtuxone-dual.sh(dual)./airtuxone-triple.sh(triple)
- Open GeForce NOW in Firefox and launch Microsoft Flight Simulator.
- Select and configure the virtual controllers in the game.
